Grin States That Have Legalized Marijuana For Medical Use

http://medicalmarijuana.procon.org/v...00881#Michigan
Hey everyone. I thought I'd let you all know the link to the website that explains all the states that have legalized the use of Marijuana for medical use. The website explains very clearly the amount, the year the bill passed in the state, what conditions are acceptable for use, and the cost of the I.D. Card needed for use and purchase. Since the website has been posted, 3 more states have followed. As of today, 4 other states have considered it and are ready to pass their bills to become law. Anyone who suffers from CRPS/RSDS will be allowed and considered under the law. This information can be useful to other patients who suffer from other chronic diseases. Any questions, please call or write your represenative. I hope everyone at least takes a look. You can make up your own mind. Keep safe and have a pain free day/night. mellowguy

Without looking at the link I knew Virginia wasn't on the list. Hell, Virginia is locking up Pain specialist who may have a couple of rough patients who don't bide by the rules in which demonizes many in severe pain and pain doctors.

Thanks Mellowguy. You have that name for a good reason. We all have more pain than we can tolerate. I see where you are going with this. Thanks! The only thing I look forward to to going to my Sympathetic Nerve Blocks is being knocked out for 45 minutes....Nuff said!

your welcome kim.
Actually my name was given to me by friends in high school. My motto always was and is "I don't worry about things I can't control" I'm just a very laid back and easy going individual. No relation to the topic I speak of. I was only making aware of on going efforts by people who care about individuals with a variety of conditons that could benefit by their actions to bring relief to those who suffer from a horrible disease such as the one we endure.
have a great and pain free day/night.
p.s. sympathetic nerve blocks did nothing for me. Except a sore lumbar region of my back.

Cool WA state medical marijuana pt

Hi,
I use medical marijuana for the nausea, GI inflammation, blood pressure stabilization (keeps it from going too high OR too low), improved dexterity, & a non interactive, NON-TOXIC, <-- boost to meds for sleep & pain, mainly with musculoskeletal pain. It doesn't help with the electric stuff or the burning, but it can be very helpful for so much else. Having Stage IV RSD/CRPS, the risk of cancer is high, and the cannabinoids have been shown to be anti-cancer. Eliminating the smoked route is simple, and then the benefits are just clear. The cannabinoids have long been known to have a significant and unique neuroprotective effect. This is critical to be aware of for people with a neuroinflammatory disease (along with B12 supplementation, another much overlooked therapy).

In WA state, in my city, it's pretty accepted as adjunct therapy for nausea, movement disorders, and pain. There are still huge political ramifications, and scare tactics used, but I personally have run into few barriers. Especially, if they can't fix it, and mmj (medical marijuana) can..

I don't use it in large enough amounts to get high. Once I can move better, I stop. I also have better access to my memory with it. It seems like it's similar to the narcotics. It improves function for me. This was such a huge issue for me recently (hospitalizations) that I chose to risk my health insurance and told them about my legal use. They are keeping me on. We need to step up, speak up and unite for anything that makes our lives easier.
