Nice to see you here, missed you! It's just this kind of research that might possibly give some clues to the triggering of RSD, interesting. Thanks also for the website link, I haven't visited it before, it has a good, clean layout, easy to read and very clear,

I wonder how many RSD members here may have hypermobility?

Hi Jo,
The problem with that test is their are several different types of Ehlers Danlos syndromes. If this is the root of my problem I would probally be the vascular type.

When I was young I was very mobile. Not today.

I always loved sports and was very active before my injury. The day before RSD I had run a couple miles. I have stated before I was like a bunny that never stopped.

Also, before anyone trips out too much on the issue of hypermobile joints (I can produce the sound of one hand clapping myself), check out Figure 1 in the article for an example of what the authors are referring to. Ouch!
