Default newbie here-was wonderingif this sounded like torture to anyone else

Hello,
1st time posting on here. I've had RSD now for almost a year. My pain is consistant...purple-black foot and leg with burning pain, and bad deep bone pain that gets worse later in the day. I'm normally flair-up pretty good by evening time especially if I overdo it during the day. So now comes the fun part. I'm w/c and being treated in a different state than my injury. They are making me fly out to the state i got hurt in to have an ime and get a bunch of new tests done. Thats just what it is...I understand that(they've been good at delaying treatment). After 2 days of overdoing it they have me scheduled to fly back at 9:30 at night. Tried to have it changed to the following morning, but the refused saying that I just have 1 appointment in the morning and I have all day to rest my leg, so theres no reason I can't fly for 3 hours late at night. I'm probably just going to have to pay to change it myself cause I know how my pain goes ...but theyre reply I guess just ****** me off. It seems like unnecessary torture. I guess I'm just kinda insulted by all this, I can't walk and now I'm supposed to keep up w/ my luggage for 10 hours probably flaired-up and just hop on a plane like a normal person. Sorry to have my 1st post be so neg. but I really needed to vent.

yeah I do have a lawyer-they just got back to me and told me to get my docs to write a letter. Hopefully that works. Calmed down some now. Was just surpised to be told I have to do something that I'm sure is going to aggrivate my leg.

That DOES sound like torture. I'm also a work comp RSD patient and they have been awful with delaying treatment. I hope you are able to work something out to make it easier on you. Good luck.
