I believe what you've done is called a "Congressional Inquiry" A congressman inquires on your behalf the status of your case with SS. I've done this twice for my wife and it should help speed things along. But, keep in mind congress people can not sway SS's decision making process. I hope everything works out for you because you've earned and payed for your SSDI and you are entitled to it!
