My doctor, Knobler, is one of Dr Schwartzman's first partners.
They've both got different reputations here, in PA.

Dr. S, is a bit of a cowboy. He'll ride you hard, and put you up wet!, he'll try everything, sadly, there is no cure. At least, he'll get you to a PM psychiatrist, whom, IMHO, is a cowgirl. Dr Herring. She's a bit over the top for me, but, that's in hindsight. She's also very kind, just like DR S!

Doctor Knobler, (Fort Washington, PA) Left Jefferson, a short bit after Schwartzman did.
He never chose Dr S's "partner's" in pain..
He's much more conservative, because he knows, that putting you through so much more pain, will do no good.
He cares! He's GOT RSD! So too, does his wife, but they cured that!
THIS DOCTOR IS THE FINEST, I've met!
He TRULY UNDERSTANDS US!

He had a mild heart attack last year, and really, doesn't need to work any longer.
But, He Does!
Because he cares!
He is one of my FAVORITE People!
If you can get to see him (He takes no insurance), do so. I see people flying in from around the world to do so!
I can't say anything better, about ANY Doctor!! Especially for RSD or MS! (His specialties).....

So Pete..can you clearify your blip about "so does his wife but they "cured" that..What does they cured that refer to?? As we know there is no curing of RSD only possible managing it..

His wife got rsd in her hand, he recognized it right away, and had her go through the pain management, and the physical therapy. They were both very determined, and it's gone.

You've heard that rsd can possibly be cured very early on? That's what they did.

I don't exactly recall the story of his rsd, but, he worked it hard, and it went into remission. It returned in his back, where he has an old injury. He's gone through most all of the things we do, I think he's past chiropractic now,, and gets a (some) nerve blocks occasionally.

They're very good people, both the Knobler's and Schwartzman's their staff, and all the doctors they refer to. If you ever need a doctor for a legal matter, you won't do better.
Not to say other's aren't good, or as good, but these two are the one's I can speak to.


I feel lucky having gone through both their "style's" of treatment. I did not coin the "cowboy" term, it was a lady in the hospital same time I was for the lidocaine infusion.
I repeated it because I thought it was funny.... they're both excellent doctors!

I saw a pain management Dr Brian Delahoussaya from La cruces NM
He did 2 blocks on me and tried me on some different meds,but His firm quit seeing me due to ny skimpy insurance. But He told me and my wife on several occassions that he has cured RSD several times but quote " Biting the head of the snake early". He stated that he had several paitients come in early within a month of contracting it,and his treatment cured them,,,,He sounded sincere ,but he didnt want to do any more shots on me,The first he agreed that he missed,but since the secound didnt work,hesaw no reason to continue,for which i disagreed...either way whether he was lying or not I dont know,,but I think that there are cases that are not too severe without nerve entrapment with other complecations that can be possible cured if found early,,,,,,,,,God bless you,,,,,,,,,bobber

Yes Pete..you did a great job on clearifying my question.. Thank you...I think both you and Bobber are onto something in that the timing in aggressively attaching this 4 headed animal is utmost importance..UTMOST!!! AND Pete.. I could not agree more... I can speak for Dr.S in that it was worth every penny to meet him..treat with him and now have him as my physcian....he is wonderful!!
