Hi Everyone,
I have been off of them for over a week. I do take Valium for the muscle spams and to help me get to sleep. I have been taking a herb called Boswellia. My pain levels are about 3-4 when they used to be a 10. I am so thankful. Hugs, Roz |

Hi Deb,
I started putting turmeric and ginger on everything I ate about 2 months ago. After a little while I noticed my inflammation going down some. (cytokines) Another thing I do is drink Aloe Vera 2 x a day to fluse the toxic cells out of my body. About 2 1/2 oz at a time. I started taking the reg pain tablet in the morning, and 250mg of Boswellia in early evening. If are hearts and lungs are effected with RSD in my hairdressig opinion we need to go slow, so it's not 2 steps backwards. That is how I got off the pain tablets. I have been on just about everything for years. Now the last eight days I am taking 500mg a day, of Boswellia. I have been completely off oxy. I take 250 in the morning and 250 in the early evening. I am also keeping up with the ginger and turmeric on my foods and drinks. Call me paranoid, but I Monitor my heart regularly as well through out the day. If anything is out of range I drink red wine (Merlot). The French have low heart problems. Big Huge Hugs, Roz |

Just a reminder- if you are taking any other meds check with your doc about any possible interactions.
and- in the stickys there is a few drug interaction checkers - they include herbs and vitamins I believe also on them. PS - forgot to add - way to go Roz!! that is awesome.

Hi Roz,
Great news! I'm so happy for you! Are you saying that you definitely DO have RSD problems with your heart & lungs? If so, how does it affect you? I'm asking because I've also had a few problems, definitely with my lungs. I haave no insurance, so I've been trying to figure out on my own what's causing it. I have trouble breathing, & it feels like a tight squeeze on my chest at times. And, sometimes it feels like my lungs "burn". I have RSD II in RT arm/hand/shoulder, that spread to my left arm, etc. I also hurt & burn in both arm pits when it's flared, and the burning & painful tingling goes "across" my chest. (That's the best I can explain it) Since my injury is Work Comp, whenm I try to ask about other areas, they just kind of say "We're only authorized to talk about your arms". Thanks for any info. I'm also going to buy the herbs (after asking my doc whenever I get to see him again). Denise |
