Hi Carol, Thank you for the greeting, the message and the kind words. I did leave you a reply. I look forward to a great friendship. I hope to chat with you soon.
I am struggling with my arms right now but I think the warmer weather will help ease up the pain.

Hi Kathy. Thank you for the warm welcome! I was diagnosed in 1989 from a right shoulder injury. I had surgery on my shoulder, blocks and a sympathectomy, still resulting in a spread.
I too have full body, a frozen right shoulder and a RSD Tongue...don't tell anyone...LOL
I too love life and love living life, not to say that I don't have any days of dispair...'cause I sure do. I agree. "We are in good company." Thanks for the warm welcome and I look forward to chatting with you too! Hugs di

Hi DianaA,

We missed you so it's good to see you back! How is it going with your HBO treatments?

Thank you so much! I have not been in my chamber since April 2009...I am in desperate need of treatment. I had issues with my son (23 years old) and a very ill father. The stress of both of these challenges has created some major changes in my body. My left leg and foot are turning in and it is currently very difficult for me to walk. I also have a lot of fliud on my left ankle which resulted from a recent injury. Both arms are extremely painful. I am hoping that the HBOT will get me back to where I use to be.
How are you doing? Please drop a note and let me know. Thanks for the welcome back! Good to be back home.
Hugs

Wecome back. You have been missed. I hope everything is going ok now. I've been busy. I've gotten a pain pump implanted and it has given me my life back. I am back to doing most of what I was able to do before RSD struck me down. I'm only 9 wks out of the surgery, but I'm back to cleaning the stalls, grooming the horses, working on spring cleaning, shopping, and I'm looking forward to going back to work part time. I still can get tired if I over do it, but today for the first time in a very long long time, I spent time in DSW shoe store trying on shoes, sandels, even tried on several kinds of heels. Never thought I would ever wear any time of shoe but a slipper due to the rsd. I'm hoping to start riding my horses within the next month or so. I don't want to rush it and set myself back. I'm really really happy with the pump. If only I knew about it when I first met everyone here, I would have been enjoying the last 4 years or so of my life. I hope you are feeling better. Let me know how you are.

Missed you
Mary

Hi Mary. WOW! I couldn't be happier for you. I am so excited to hear that you are beginning to enjoy all those wonderful life experiences again. I can't say enough about being able to share in your joy! I remembered you had horses....and I am so glad that you can reconnect with your life in all these ways. Pace yourself...I know the temptation to hit the door running, when your feeling well, cause life is just so great! So much to enjoy...
Thanks for the welcome back and the update!
Best

Yes stress can be a real challenge those of us with on RSD, I've been through very similar very difficult family situations so I know what of you speak. I'm sorry to hear you haven't been able to continue with the HBOT as I know it has really helped you in the past. I do hope you'll be able to get back on track again very soon. In the meantime are you able to find some quiet time for yourself to meditate or do some deep breathing exercises? Those 2 things have helped me get through life's challenges until I can get back to my lidocaine infusions.

It's so good to see you posting again.

Warm wishes.

MsL

Thanks for your understanding. Sorry, that you have had some of the same experiences. Yes, I do manage to meditate everyday and I know it helps. Thanks for mentioning the meditation cause I need to breathe and focus now. I will be leaving tomorrow for Colorado, my dad is struggling for his life.
I will take your advice and take my tapes with soothing music. I better go cause I'm not sure I'm making any sense. I love my father so much and he is really really in bad shape.
I do hope you are fairing ok and that things have settled down for you now.
So good to hear from you.
hugs di
