Default List of RSD Drs? Atlanta dr needed

I saw on another thread that *** had a dr finder tbhat you could put in zip to find a RSD Dr. I couldn't find it.

I am in the Atlanta area and would like to find a good PM dr and or Nueroligist who are experienced with RSD.

Any ideas?

I have googled and didnt find anyone. I am not happy with my current and really need to switch. Long story short, I have RSD, it's spreading, am on short term disability from work for ankle reconstruction surgey, they are firing me, and my current PM dr I have to see a different dr each time- 3 so far, and I need to see one dr who knows what the heck they are doing.

Thanks,
Brenda

Thanks Jim, but I was really looking for a list of drs that are experienced in RSD or someone who can recommend one they have seen in Atlanta area. Unless I was doing something wrong that link has a very small list of specialties and RSD wasnt one of them.

I would have expected google to find one but notta. Even if it did, a personal recommendation could help. Although my PM drs knows of RSD, they seem to not know much about it. uggg

Although I have been dealing with this since March, and it has been painful, I think the big girl stuff is about to begin. Losing job and trying to get disability sounds like lots of challenges from all I have read.

Thanks for the link

shapeshifter224, I'm sure someone during the week will respond who may know a good RSD doctor in your area. I know what you are going through, my wife has RSD and it took 4 years to find one who will treat her halfway decently. There is a place some distance from you but not too far. I believe they do not except insurance but could be wrong about this. Here is the link and I hope you find that doctor!

I thought that you could also go to the RSDSA.org website and there was a place where you could search for board certified PM docs and anesthesiologists.

There is also a list on FB at the ketamine klub page of ketamine docs in the US. It was provided by Jim Broatch sometime last year, so it is not an updated list. You could contact Jim at the RSDSA and ask him for his recent version of it. Most docs that offer ketamine infusions for RSD have extensive experience with RSD and would be a good bet. The link that Jim King gave you was for Anthony Kirkpatrick in Tampa, FL. He has a great reputation, but I'm fairly certain he wants your cash up front (and lots of it!!) if you go to see him. Perhaps the RSDSA's list will have a doc that is a closer to Atlanta.

The best of luck to you. XOXOX Sandy
