Hi Sandy S, On your Gain box there is an 800 number for Proctor&Gamble. If you call them they will tell you if they have re-formulated the Gain recently or changed any of the materials in it. I am suspecting that it is probably the perfume that they add to the soap. Gain is being re-configured with stronger scent in it as the company wants it to appeal more to the Hispanic population (no offense intended to anyone). My dad retired from P&G from the plant that makes Gain (liquid) but the company is real good about keeping the people that retired in the loop. Also two of my cousins work at the same plant.

Even some of the so called scent free detergents have some scent in them, just in smaller amounts because without it, the soap really stinks. Hope that helps a little, Lisa

Sorry for all the mis-spells tonight, I am having a stupid finger day.

Hi Finz.

The rash is on her back and neck. She has all over body RSD. So I don't know if it is in her back if it is all over body. The rash is red and raised, today it looks like she has been scratching it...so it is kind of raw and bleeding...but it looks like it may be healing. She has been taking benedryl and it seems to be helping. Hopefully it is going away.

Thanks Sandy

Hi Sandy, RSD rashes can pop up anywhere when we have full body or generalized. They come and go. It's summertime and 110 where I am. I've noticed when I perspire on my neck, the rash arises.
Because RSD is an autonomic condition, our body temperature is out of control. If you put your hand on the small of Lindsey's back and it's hot, that is a sign of being in her spine. I get rashes in areas of sweating. My Dr. says to be sure and use sun lotion when outside. I have several hot spots. I've also noticed lymph gland swelling that goes with RSD. I have had lymphatic massages to release the swollen gland and the liquid in the lymph.
As a Mom myself, I can't imagine how painful this is for you to see your daughter going thru this. My daughter used to drive me to therapy-she was 15 when I first got it, but had 3 remissions. I didn't get it full blown till after she finished college and married. My husband and daughter and son in law are wonderful to me. Please give Lindsay a hug. your friend, loretta

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the heads up. I will give them a call and find out. Tell you dad thanks for the info. I need to buy her baby dreft...I love that smell anyway. It will remind me of when she was a baby.

Thanks, Sandy
