Jim....I'm guessing your wife may have tried Lidoderm Patches, as many of us have for RSD. They go directly on the affacted area and are supposed to help numb the area.

The Fentanyl patch is a different animal altogether....narcotic pain med absorbed through the skin....long lasting, good for 48 to 72 hours, placed in a different area of the body.
