Since Dr Hooshmand is retired, he referrs all his patients to Dr. Masood Hashmi, in Palm Bay, Florida.
I was wondering if any of you here go to him? If so, how pleased are you with the treatment you are getting? I assume that he basically has the same "RSD beliefs" so to speak, as Dr Hooshmand? His practice is Space Coast Neurology (http://www.rsdconsultants.com/) |

I saw Dr. Hashmi on several occassions. At the time I was there - you had to switch day by day - Dr. Hooshmand - one day - and Dr. Hashmi the other. I really wanted only Dr Hooshmand but they gave you no choice. Fortnuately my days for treatment were days with Dr. Hooshmand. However, I found Dr. Hasmi to be very thorough , very pleasant and knowledgeable. Being with Dr. Hooshman he had a great learning opportunity. I would not hesitate going to him for treatment.
Good luck! Sydney |

I am very pleased with the care I receive from him. I had been educating health providers and struggling with the symptoms of RSD since my car accident on May 9, 2003. Not being diagnosed until December 10, 2003. I finally found someone with experience that knows what he's doing. He goes above and beyond to help his patients. He really cares we are not just a number to him. I trust him 100%
Thanks again Dr. Hashmi, Jennifer Crosby |

Hi I suffered rsd for 12 years plus a lot more. Please accept names of other doctors I went to across Canada as well. Yes I was seen by Dr. Hooshmand, Dr. Hashmi &. Jim Woolcot at all offices. At retirement Dr. Hooshmand referred me to Dr. Pollett, North Sydney Hospital, North Sydney Nova Scotia, Canada, he is amazing and has other optional treatments I found helpful. If you are interested please email me and I will find his phone # and call him to see how long it takes to get in, usually not long. Best Wishes, |
