Question ??? Dr Masood Hashmi, in Palm Bay, FL-- anyone here his patient?

Since Dr Hooshmand is retired, he referrs all his patients to Dr. Masood Hashmi, in Palm Bay, Florida.

I was wondering if any of you here go to him? If so, how pleased are you with the treatment you are getting? I assume that he basically has the same "RSD beliefs" so to speak, as Dr Hooshmand?

His practice is Space Coast Neurology (http://www.rsdconsultants.com/)

Default Yes - I saw Dr. Hashmi

I saw Dr. Hashmi on several occassions. At the time I was there - you had to switch day by day - Dr. Hooshmand - one day - and Dr. Hashmi the other. I really wanted only Dr Hooshmand but they gave you no choice. Fortnuately my days for treatment were days with Dr. Hooshmand. However, I found Dr. Hasmi to be very thorough , very pleasant and knowledgeable. Being with Dr. Hooshman he had a great learning opportunity. I would not hesitate going to him for treatment.
Good luck!

Default Dr. Hashmi's patient since September of 2007

I am very pleased with the care I receive from him. I had been educating health providers and struggling with the symptoms of RSD since my car accident on May 9, 2003. Not being diagnosed until December 10, 2003. I finally found someone with experience that knows what he's doing. He goes above and beyond to help his patients. He really cares we are not just a number to him. I trust him 100%

Thanks again Dr. Hashmi,
Jennifer Crosby

Can you tell me if the Dr. will help with the pain, what does he do? My wife was diagonsed with crps or rsd, after going thru intense pain for the last ten months, She had three nerve blocks that did nothing at all? I can go on and on, but for now, What does Dr. Hashmi do for this? Should we see him? We live on the sw coast of Florida. Please respond. Thanks Tom Piatkowski

Hi I have not seen him but came to Fl for the winter and have been researching doctors. I think he is a neuro and pain doctor. I have not called that office but did call Dr Kirkpatrick who does the kentamine op infusions and blocks. I would call the office of Dr Hashmi and see what services he does and ask any ?'s you have. I have seen a couple different PM doctors in a few states and am possibly going to do a scs but with my search for help I have gotten a range of different things they felt I should do. It seems a lot to do with what that doctor specializes in. I wish I could be more help but if you want you can email me or your wife can too.
