Default CFS and, or Fribro along with CRPS...anyone?

Hi gang!

I was just wondering if anyone along with their CRPS have chronic fatigue syndrome and, or Fribromyalgia (sorry for the spelling)?

If so please tell me about it, because I believe I have CFS and Fribro. It's hard to tell anymore. All I know is that I and exhausted alllllll the time, and my muscles feel like I've just had a extremine work out. I'm stiff and can barely get out of bed, and when I wake up I'm exhausted like I was before a I GO TO BED! There are other symptoms but, please tell me about what's going on with you.

Hi Lefty,
I am so sorry you are going through this mess. I feel for you my friend. I had mono/hepatitis (not the bad one) together and developed CFS afterwards. My family doctor put me on an antidepressant called Celexa (or Lexapro I can't remember it now) but he said there was testing done and it really helped me out so much. I used it for about a year and then stopped and never used it again. I now have full body rsd, fibro, rheum. arthritis, and osteoporosis too. I always say just pick whichever one you want on a certain day because there is always pain. I had a Christian faith healer work with me for a few months this year and within the first time she prayed over my hands which were the worst she has almost cured it completely...by prayer! It is so amazing to watch it simply slide away. Sometimes I get it when there are severe weather changes but nothing like before she prayed over me.

What about vitamins with B-complex in then. I've been getting an IV with all natural vitamins in them and they are really working well for me and give me energy. Sometimes eating and drinking too many sugars/sweets can make your pain go crazier because they are all carbs. Try watching what you are eating or drinking to see if there are any coorelations to them. Best of luck.

Default Hi Lefty,

I have CFS and Fibro along with Cronic Pain Syndrome and Central Sensitization Syndrome. I was diagnosed with them around 2000, the same time I was diagnosed with the RSD that came from Thoracic Outlet Syndrome.
Rhemotolgist are usually the ones that diagnosed CFS and Fibro. With CFS, you just have to pretty much sleep it off and go into remission from it. I slept a lot for years, it about drove me nuts. I think going into PT helped me with it as much as the other problems. I spent almost 4 years in PT. I finally went into remission from the CFS and have had triggerpoint injections for the Fibro and the RSD. I also had blocks for the RSD by a very good Anesteolgist.

When I first started with the Fibro, I couldn't hold my neck up. Drove me nuts. I was in pain all over so it was hard to know what was what until my Dr. and I got it under control. I do pretty good now. I still use my heating pads at night, I use my lidoderm patches but I am able to stay off of my Methadone most of the time.

To get better, it takes more then one type treatment. I am also in councelling, have been for about 10 years. It keeps me sane, or close to it.

I hope you get some answers soon and you're able to get the help you need to get in remission.

Ada
