artist,
sorry, i always write in all capitals, easier on the hands to type, and for some reason this site has it come up as each word with a capital ... i don't know why. but thanks for reminding me, i believe you mentioned it on my very first posting here. i will try my best to remember to switch to the lower case when i write here. sometimes the brain fails! joan

Red face Im Sorry

I wasnt lashing out at ya Joan. It is newsman like him that made our jobs difficult. We would get into situations like being able to ride with soldiers, or other very unique areas, and guys like him would come along and ruin it.

You see, he was being careless. There are rules for everyone to follow, and he was breaking them. You can be sure that it will not be so easy for news people to get into areas that they once could because of his John Wayne antics.

Since he got hurt, now he is focusing on what happened to him, and others like him. Sure that is good, but it is like throwing the baby out with the bath water. That kind of damage is around 5% of the injuries incurred in Iraq. What happens to the other 95% that isnt getting the lime light? The government would love for him to disappear, or would they? With him focusing on the 5%, it leaves them to stiff the rest of them. Unless he broadens his scope, and shines the light on the whole problem.

Maybe I should wait to write about anything that means a great deal to me until after I am on some form of pain meds
Kinda hard not to get excited about things I care so dearly about when the pain has me on edge already. I dont mean to run anybody down, or make anyone feel bad at all. The government has stiffed sooo many people, and used the media to help that cause so much that I dont trust any of them.

I didnt mean to make it sound like he deserved what he got either. It is more like when you play with fire you get burned attitude that I have. When you fully know all that could happen, and you put yourself into the situation, that is different from you and I. No way did you put yourself in harms way to accidentally get RSD, and neither did I. Circumstances just jumped out and bit us. Sure it jumped out to him also, but he knew that the chances were risky, and also was warned right on camera that the area he was passing through was exceptionally dangerous, and to put his head down. He just couldnt resist sticking his neck out so to speak.

Why does it always take stuff like that to get everyones attention? More people are afraid their kids are going to be kidnapped today because of the news. When the news person asked the kids. Which is more dangerous, visiting a friends house with a pool? Or visiting a friends house that owns a gun? The kids said the one with a gun! More kids die by drowning per year than by being shot by a friends gun. In fact you can prolly count all the gun shots in one year on one hand, but you dont have enough fingers or toes to count the hundreds of drownings a year.

Why is it you ask? Because the news only reports sensationalism, gunshots are more news worthy than drownings. Then the government gets involved with this fear, and begins a campaign to remove guns from every person. Did you know that a kid is more likely to get picked up in a tornado then by a kidnapper. That is true!

Wonder why there is no laws against tornados??

Well anyways, sorry if I offended anyone with my rant against these partners in crime, and sorry if it came off like I was glad that woodruff got hurt. Just wish folks wouldnt be so gullible, and see through the smoke screen the government and media throw in front of us everyday. They know they are shaping our opinions and beliefs. It just gets to me that we walk right down the path they lay out without ever questioning the facts.

It also gets to me that because of our sheep mentality, even the ones that question these things are pushed to follow the crowd, and get into trouble when they speak out, nobody wants to hear it. It is like swimming against the current.

Im done, and want everyone to know that I am with all of ya! Wont swim against the current....it hurts to much

Love all of ya!
