Default Article on RSD in my local paper

I don't understand the last paragraph. I wrote to the reporter asking for clarity. RSD has affected my thinking so it is probably me. It sounds a bit confusing.

It did sound a bit confusing, I had to read it 4 times!!! I think it meant basically the awareness of it would help people/doctors catch it early and hopefully prevent the severity of it leading to disability for life. Like some Dr.'s say if caught in first 3 months, good chance of remission/reversal.

That is what I made of it any ways, but please correct me some one if I am wrong. Thanks for getting this out there in the public eye!

I was surprised to see the article.

It sounds like the woman was diagnosed in 2009, and already found her way to Stanton-Hicks. So, she has a good chance at having had early blocks and treatment. Maybe she will be one of the lucky ones. I hope so.
