Default An article in yesterday's paper.

There was an article in the paper yesterday. I'm sure we can all relate.

So interesting...when you think about her fight to keep her "secret", though, I wonder how much energy she would have saved by being up front about her illness...it takes energy to hold back, too...
Still, I truly respect her for speaking to groups...that takes a lot of courage.

Thanks again for sharing!

Thanks Steve. Good article.

That's the 2nd or 3rd article in the Oregonian this week where Dr. Cohan has been featured. He's the neuro that I see for the clinical trial I am in.

He is also asking for MS patients in Oregon and SW Washington to become part of the MS Registry for the database.

thanks, Steve ... amazing how we try to be 'tough' and 'do it ourselves' .. and then it makes itself known ...

Hi Steve~ Wow, interesting article. Just goes to show that everyone handles their own illnesses/issues in the way they feel they can. Does this where the "I have MS, but it doesn't have me" sound like it could be placed??

Thanks for sharing.

Cheryl, I don't really think that my MS is due to living in Oregon. I came up here from New Mexico with what I now recognize as MS symptoms. Think I was just dismissed by docs in NM. Maybe they're just better at diagnoses up here!

Possibly DM, I see the ads for Kaiser Permanente on the TV all the time saying the same about cancer. Not to make light of cancer.
