I recognize this form letter from another RSD website. It would probably be more appropriate to explain how you used it and provide a direct link...

Default You are angels

Hello. I just figured out how to get to this section from the Ketamine Klub. I am now a member of this group as well. I am fighting my insurance company and the information provided here helps me so much. I have deep gratitude to all of you for your guidance. I am in so much pain and my RSD in spreading so fast. It's frustrating - Dr. S has accepted me and I'm only a one hour train ride away from him. Right now, so close but so far away. Thanks again to all of you. Laurie

Confused

Do you know how much the ketamine infusions cost? It's my last resort, and it's time I started finding out about it. Can you help?

Maybe it has to do with what state you're in? We visited Dr K in Tampa several years ago & while BCBS picked up a portion of it at first they ultimately demanded their money back & we ended up paying for it all out of pocket

We even used the appeal form (or a version very similar to) in the beginning of this post.

I contacted them again today as we just found a clinic here in AZ that does the boosters & they said they still wouldn't cover any of it. Very frustrating.

My wife was covered under BCBS for infusions at GW Hospital in Washington, both ketamine and lidocaine. Maybe the state does have something to do with it. Our BCBS was Mid Atlantic CareFirst. Just curious, is your BCBS Anthem?

Default Glad for post

Thank you for posting all this information. Knowledge is a gift. Those of us dealing with cronic conditions, need to know where we stand. A friend of mine up in Chicago who is 85 in SEVERE back pain after 8 level fusion was denied. I do not understand what is happing to this country, and where compassion went. ginnie
