Default Jump through Hoops

I filed for SS Disability & was denied. I appealed twice, on my
Own, and was denied both times. I hired an attorney, with the
$6000 limit (on contingency) and was granted SS Disability.
SAME EXACT SITUATION, SAME EXACT DOCTORS' RECORDS ...
But the attorney got it done.

IF you win, the money is taken directly out of the
Retro wages before you see any money. It is a
Racket, but one our legal system thrives on.

Get a GOOD attorney. Don't let the attorney
Mess things up for you.

Good Luck. I go through this process every 3-5 years,
As they try to kick me off THAT OFTEN! I am
Going thru another One right now. It is a cruel
Joke that SS Disability plays on sick people.
AS IF RSD WASN'T BAD ENOUGH BY ITSELF, I
HAVE TO RELIVE EVERY DETAIL, UNDER OATH & IN WRITING,
JUST SO A "N U R S E" CAN PUT A BIG RED
"X" SAYING " DENIED ".

The cap on attorney fees for a disability claim is currently $6000 and if you don't get it he gets nothing. When I filed it was $5300 and it went directly from the Social Security Office to him and taken off my loss wage check and documented as such on all my papers from social security.

Filing for disability is really a pain. It took me 2 tries, never had to go to court it was settled in lawyers office.

I hope this is a help.
