Default vit c formula. this stuff truly heals, try it!

Hello! I hope you are having a good, pain-free day!

I want to share with you the formula for vitamin c intravenous infusions that have worked so great for me. Lately I have been having a flare, the worst in years and it has been weekly or even biweekly infusions that have helped me minimize, even stop the spreading of RSD. Please try them. The magnesium can burn a bit so you can also have the infusion without the magnesium (this is what I have done recently.

My doctor said that to find a provider who does the IVs, one should contact the American College forth Advancement of Medicine.

Sterile Water 500cc
Ascorbic Acid 500mg/cc 70cc (35Gm)
Magnesium Sulfate 200mg/cc 6cc
Sodium Bicarbonate 10cc
Dexapanthenol (B5) 250mg/cc 2cc (500 mg)
B Complex 0.25 cc
(Contains Thiamine 100 mg, Riboflavin 2mg, Pyrodoxine 2mg, Dexapanthenol 2mg, Niacinamide 100mg)
Taurine 50mg/ml 2cc

There have been studies proving how beneficial vitamin c is to prevent rsd. Give it a try if you can.

Here's an interesting link that includes oral Vitamin C as part of a nutritional program to combat neuropathic pain. :http://www.suite101.com/article.cfm/pns/14991/1

Thanks Jane and LitLove for your suggestions about the vit C iv. I have been getting iv's of natural vitamins and minerals since Oct 2010 and I swear by them. I have tried everything over the last six years and I had a small percentage of relief compared to what I have now with iv minerals/vitamins. I did read a bit ago that vit c is very important for rsd sufferers so I have added a large chunk of a lemon to my tea every morning. It seems to be helping me and I am even exercising now too. I will be going back for my now once a month iv end of this month and I will speak to my neurologist that does the infusions about this suggestion. She told me it is really important for us to have minerals as our bodies are lacking it. It has made a huge difference in my life. I looked into the IVIG program and the stats are not great and the vitamin iv for me has a higher success rate. The heck with the ketamine as I tried it and the ICU turned into a nightmare for me last year...I will be "sticking" with my natural vitamins. I also believe the vitamins have actually helped to heal my body AND I have gotten off ALL PAIN MEDICATION which for me after 5 years of Fentanyl and everything else is a true miracle to me. Thanks for all your input for this idea and keep us up to date on your progress.

Oh one other thing I forgot to write about is I have added a handful of blueberries mixed with yogurt to my breakfast each day. They give me energy. I also have added raw mushrooms to help with my immunity. I try to eat raw foods or things that I know are better for me. I have really cut down on my carbs and sweets too which has helped. Let me know if anyone else takes any other veggie or fruit that helps them. Best of luck to all.

Hi Kathy! I am so happy to hear that the vitamin infusions have also been so beneficial to you!! And that you are off pain meds thanks to them! I also try to eat very healthy so we have that in common too!

Betsy: it was my doctor who offered them to me. He is an MD but works in an alternative medicine oriented facility. His name is Dr. Gordin at the Marino Center in Cambridge MA. To fiend a provider who does these types of IVs, he told me you can search at the place I wrote about above.

Normally this IV takes an hour, but I have to have them very slowly so it takes about two, sometimes three hours. Let me know if you have any more questions!!!

Hi Betsykk,
My doctor that does the iv of natural vitamins is a holistic neurologist. She also does something called chelation (iv's and it has something to do with cleansing bad things in your blood stream and she does that for some heart patients I believe). For me with rsd she gives me natural vitamins and minerals and they help me sooo much. I feel so much better afterwards. The first day I am usually worn out from getting to the office and back but give me a few hours in bed and I have so much more stamina!! I figure it is good for your body being natural so why not try it...and it is cheaper than ketamine or lidocaine. I noticed a huge difference with the first one I had and with each one after I feel better and better. I pray it works for you. Keep us informed.

There is a new form of Vit C being discussed on the net.

It is oral, but contrived in a way to deliver much more per dose orally.

Liposomal Vit C--
It costs more than regular oral tablets, but could be an alternative to getting IVs of Vit C if that is a problem:
example:
http://www.letstalkhealth.com/Liposo...-8oz-p/614.htm

Just type in "liposomal Vitamin C" into Google for more choices and sites.

It seems like the're always looking for more new ways of making unpatentable natural substances patentable, eh?

Regarding the cost, I came across this site describing how to make your own at home:
http://www.quantumbalancing.com/liposomalC.htm

It appears there are a couple of methods/recipes on the page. There may be more elsewhere(?)

I was also looking for how, and in what ways, liposomal Vitamin C compares to Ester C, but haven't found any yet.
