hi frogga and all--well, now that i know that it isn't "unusual" to put odd things in the fridge.... a few days ago, could not find the salt for the life of me.. (i even checked the garbage, after the sash incident)...

next morning when i went to get the cream for my coffee..there was the box of salt, neatly "organized" on the fridge shelf, next to the jams and jellies!!

At least i put water in the coffee maker, and coffee beans , not salt, in the coffee filter that a.m.!!! although, come to think of it....
