Default PT is not for everyone!

Hi:

I cringed at the idea of PT. I have had horrible experiences in the past. This time was different. I had water therapy for my ankle after I sprained it. The PT did research on her own about RSD and adjusted my after water therapy accordingly. It did take my pain down from a 10 plus on the pain scale to a 8 in 6 weeks. It doesn't sound like much, but any relief is good as you know! But PT definately is not for everyone. Be an advocate for yourself because only you know what you can tolerate! Remember that not everyone understands and keep searching until you find someone that will!

Good luck and be strong!
