Prior to being diagnosed I had a root canal and the pain never left even though the procedure was successful. When I was diagnosed I was told that the root canal caused a new source of CRPS. I consulted the U of Md dental school and was cautioned never to have one again, but rather have the tooth pulled. (What a crappy solution for folks in chronic pain who take all those tooth decaying meds)

The pain is in my entire jaw, not just where I had the root canal. I wish I had known, I would have had it pulled.

I believe Hooshmand's website has some info regarding CRPS and root canals. Hole this helps.
