I do not know what the laws are in your state...every state has different laws about what doctors you can see. I suggest speaking to a work comp lawyer because they will know what to do. Even in a state where you cannot see your own choice of doctor and get coverage, there is a process where your attorney can petition the courts to allow you to see another doctor for whatever reason (lack of care, inexperience, etc). If the court approves it then work comp will have to too. If the doctor refers you to another doctor then that is obviously easier. Work comp lawyers don't take any money up front though so it is definitely worth it to consult with one. It should be a lawyer who is willing to go to bat for you and your rights.
