Default My daughter update

Hi all,

It's been quite a while since I have posted. Well, some of you will remember me and my daughter Lindsay. Since the gastric pacemaker, Lindsay has been doing tremendous! She left for college. Yes, I am weepy as I write this. She has put on 25 to 30 lbs and is doing so well. Yes the RSD and Gastroparesis is still a pain! ( No pun intended) but, she is doing Yoga, the only meds she takes are Cymbalta, baclofen and Phenegan. Of course she takes an over the counter sleepaide, and she also takes different supplements.

All in all, things are going so well for her. She turned 19 this year. It's been a long road. 8 years with this disease. Many of you have gone through this with me and I think of you often. She's had her pacemaker for a year now. Amazing, how good nutrition plays a vital role in this disease. She is a Vegan now and is really, really doing well.

Thanks for all your support over these years. Looking forward to hearing from my old friends.

Soft hugs,

Sandy

I don't know how I missed this post but I just wanted to say that I am VERY happy to hear that she is doing so well. I hope she just gets better and better as time goes on.

Iam so happy to see this post!! Sandy, it's wonderful to read Lindsey is doing so well, RSD certainly has been difficult for her and all of us.. News like this is so terrific... it is wonderful to hear from our past and well as our new friends here..I believe this news calls for a happy family reunion on here..Keep the faith, as Lindsey has demonstrated, anything is possible!

Hugs, Kathy

Thanks Kathy,

I am so sorry for not posting in a while. She is taking a Yoga class which is helping her. But, I think the Gastric Pacemaker was a huge key, especially for nutrition. I miss all of you.

Thank you so much for you well wishes, as you know she has had a long journey. She is finally enjoying life, it is a beautiful thing, something that I never thought would be possible.
