I forgot you didn't like the pool, huh? The problem with RSD is you can't really can't assume it's the cause of everything strange thing that happens. As bad as what you're describing, it could also be an allergic reaction to a med as well. Cortizone cream might be worth trying. You probably need to get into your primary and/or a dermatologist asap as well.

May I make a suggestion. If contemporary methods are failing. Ask your dr. for a prescription of ATARAX. This is a little anti-itch pill, it works great. You only take it prn. It may make you tired though.

whats prn. and thanx I will research and mention to my dr,s this itchy, reddening painful, will challenging crap needs to go away.. I fight the urge to scratch.. I'm sire every one knows how painful having an itch you can't scratch is.. and how painful scratching RSD is .. ohhhh. its driving me nuts . thanx for your response

prn is "as needed" I had to take it awhile ago and it worked great. Good luck!

Did you by chance start any new meds around the same time this started happening? Not all meds cause an instant reaction..they build slowly over time. For example.. the first time my son was on amoxicillan he had no reaction. The second time.. a rash on his back. The third time..full blown hives. So if you started a new med even before the symptoms started..it could be related. Just a thought. hope you get feeling better my cankle comrad!
