Default Have to laugh at myself...

I have crps in my right foot but it causes muscle cramping and burning in all my extremities and upper back.

During my aquatherapy a week and a half ago I pulled something at the back of my "good" heel. I treat it conservatively.

Fast forward to the weekend. I'm feeding my cat in the laundry room (so my other cats don't eat her food). As soon as I enter the laundry room I step in a pile of cat vomit with my newly injured foot. I immediately lift my foot up out of it which causes my new injury to sharply pull. I can't hop on the other foot because it's injured too. So I'm looking down, hopping around on my pulled foot and end up getting my hair stuck on one of those long sticky fly tapes. Now both feet are injured, I have cat puke on one foot and a long sticky fly tape throughout my hair.

I go to my husband looking extremely pitiful and ask for his help getting the fly tape out of my hair since its extremely sticky. He asks for a scissors. No! I can't have him cut my hair at the TOP of my head.

Eventually we pull the tape out together- very painful but at least I don't have a short stub of hair coming out of the top of my head.

I try aquatherapy again but my newly injured foot hurts too much. So I go to the walk-in clinic attached to the YMCA. The dr. there is familiar with crps (a truly monumental plus). She puts my "good" foot in an aircast for a sprain and to keep my ankle aligned. (which has helped alot)

Does the fun ever stop?

I'd be careful about immobilizing even a "good" limb, you sure don't want spread.
