I believe Michael researched the idea extensively if you read through his posts. Unfortunately he hasn't popped in, in a while.

Default Hi Debbie

I am sorry you are depressed. I know they do this treatment for severe depression. Look through the posts for today. There was another person on today, that did this, and now isn't so sure it was good to do. There were some memory problems involved with the side effects. Make sure if you choose to do this therapy that you do find out from your doctor what all the possible side effects can be. I hope that you can find a solution, that may not be so hard on you. Are you in therapy? Is there any way NT can help? I sure will be here to talk to any time. I have depression too, and often come back here for the best therapy of all, interaction with others who have some troubles too. Lots of compassion with folks in this site. Take care Debbie, I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. ginnie

Thanks for your feedback, I don't have depression, the reason I was thinking about it was to try and stop the pain cycle...

Default Thanks for telling me debbie

Hi Debbie, I didn't know it could be used for the pain of RSD etc. I learned something new from you. I will go on line and do some research. I sure hope if you do this, that it works for you. I am sorry you have to suffer from this kind of pain. I don't have full blown RSD, just on my foot, ankle, calf. No spreading other than that, but I am sure worried. Take care, ginnie

Default Rsd

Mine was also just in my foot/calf and the a had a hip replacement and it spread full body...so my advice to you is stay away from surgery at any cost. I wish I could go back and NOT do the hip!

keep in touch

Debbie
