Wink Newbie RSD -New pain n Numbness

I'm new here and have RSD in my right Arm n shoulder. For the past two days my other arm is numb from my pinky and ring finger to my elbow and my elbow is on fire, but today my elbow and the fingers just ache, is this "normal"?
Two questions
1. Anyone with similar symtoms or do you think it's unrelated (fingers crossed)?
2. Anyone dx early with success with stopping progression with blocks? How many?

Thank you for your time, I haven't been able to get mine under control yet, first block week from Monday and the pain has Kept me home and lying on my back. Thank you all, I have read your comments day/night and it helps.
