I have had rsd for 12yrs and now I am having seizures. not the typical kind partial and it has affected my mood. anger rages at times. They say I have a scar on my left lobe. has any one else had these problems?

Is the lobe scar related to the RSD?? Is that what the drs are thinking?
Or could it be a separate issue?

Thank you for writing me back. Never had this before. The eeg done last Aug. Showed slow movement in the left lobe. But Nothing was told to me at that time . only that it was muscle spasms. went to other Drs. after seizures stared getting worse by the end of last year. I had four different seizure meds.The wrong ones that only caused horrible affects. Now I am on trileptal and klonopin.Also now I'm experiencing numbness in my left knee up to uper thigh. I wish I knew what was happening to me. It has taken a toll on my marriage.......

Welcome to the group. I just wanted to say I never had the seizures but I think the anger and rage comes with the pain and stress of the RSD. I just got an email from a friend that is going through this and can't deal with things at home.

I went through it too. My PCP had to talk me down many times because of the anger and rage and stress. It makes you want to run away from home and hide. Many a time I wanted to go hide in a motel by myself. I couldn't stand to be around anyone but I was worse with Bill. I finally got through it and I believe as you go along and start getting some of the pain calmed down the other things will calm down too. I stayed in my room and didn't come out for years because of not wanting to be around people. Thank God I had a understanding husband. I know how hard it is to go through what you are going through.
