Default IV Therapy

I went to the pain management doc today and she scheduled me for 2 more nerve blocks. They are only going to be a week apart, little nervous I have had one done already, with no relief. She is talking about IV Therapy, she said we would discuss more at our next visit. I was wondering if anyone has done this and can tell me what it consists of? Do I have to stay in hospital or is this an outpatient procedure? Was it successful for you?

Ive done a TON of PT. pain meds, desensitizing, lidocaine patches and estem and none of it works besides the pain meds easing just some of it. Right now im looking into ketamine infusions and i just saw some stuff on IVIG and wonderd how much it helps. I have bad nueropathy, but i also have the autonimic issues. So i need to find the best course of treatment.

Hello, I am a mom of a 14 yo daughter with RSD in both of her legs. She has had 6 ketamine infusions without much success, as well as nerve blocks, epidurals, lidocaine infusions, IVIG, IV steriods, meds and I know I am missing something, but we have tried it all. The best thing is for us was the Sciatic Nerve Block. It has given her 6 weeks of life back. I know it sounds crazy but right now we will take what we can. Good luck
