The Dutch have known since 2006 that there are 2 variations of RSD/CRPS type 1. Warm where the affected area feels warmer than the rest of your body and for 5% cold where the affected area is colder than the rest. I suppose which ever type you are woukd determine how severely you are affected by that type of wheather.

That would make sense as well. I guess there's always something to learn about RSD! I'm quite sensitive to cold weather/objects/etc. and tend to have more intense flares in the winter, so that helps explain that.
