I am taking gabapentin (generic for neurontin) for my CRPS, 600 mg three times a day. I've been taking it for a couple of years, but I have been having trouble with nausea for the last number of months.
I attribute it to the gabapentin as it is my primary medication for CRPS. I have taken dramamine (car sick pills) for the nausea and it has helped sometimes, but there are some days when the dramamine won't touch the nausea and I end up house bound until it clears. Anybody else have this issue and how do you deal with it? The gabapentin has been quite effective for me, (verified with a couple of times trying to wean off of it which brought more pain back) so I really don't want to stop taking it or change drugs; you know how that can go sometimes. Thanks in advance. Every day is an adventure with this condition! ![]() Last edited by birchlake; 09-12-2012 at 05:19 AM. |
