I just bought a bottle of Grape Seed & Resveratrol from COSTCO. On the bottle it says helps to keep artery walls flexible. Have others found this to be helpful for CRPS? I thought I once read a post on this. My PM doc has me on many supplements but he never mentioned this one. Thank you!

I heard that Grape Seed Extract helps prevent the spread of RSD. I have started it recently, haven't noticed a difference yet but hopefully soon. I have only been on it for about 1 month.

Vicc here, used to post about grapeseed extract.
http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ight=grapeseed Also useful is Vit C. There are studies from Europe that Vit C taken at ankle/wrist surgery, reduces incidence of RSD from that trauma. There is also a Vit C thread here: http://neurotalk.psychcentral.com/sh...ight=liposomal Use our search function to find more. ![]()

There are studies from Europe that Vit C taken at ankle/wrist surgery, reduces incidence of RSD from that trauma. Unless they can prove that the recipient would have got RSD without it that is a load of nonsense and we all know that is impossible |

The first paper states We carried out a "before-after" quasi-experimental study not really reassuring.
The second seems to have been done more professionally but unless they can state categorically that all the patients in both groups were given exactly the same treatments, drugs, dosages, physio etc. as well as the vit c or placebo there are too many variables to really come to a positive conclusion regarding the use of Vit c That doesn't mean it isn't worth trying but it has to happen at the time of the fracture so for many of us it's too late. |

I've been talking about these OPC's since I arrived here recently. I'm headed to 20th year on these this year.
I've not taken a allergy/sinus med since 1995 and banking that OPC's will keep me cancer free. |

OPC's primarily are grape seed extract, pynogenol and resveratrol. I'm not selling them but bringing them to people's attention, I've been taking the first two for 20 yrs soon.
They work on all our circulatory systems in our body. Just wondering if others are getting benefits since I posted my commment on June 1. |
