Default RSD and high copper? Is there a connection?

I have had several blood tests and all of them have shown significantly high copper which seems to puzzle doctors because they never see it. Has anyone else with RSD had abnormal copper levels? I was wondering if there was a connection.

I got RSD 3 months after I had a copper IUD inserted, which I know can affect copper levels. I have been toying with having it removed but I love it for birth control and can't tolerate hormonal options, so I've been hesitant to have it removed.

Have you heard of this book? http://www.amazon.com/Why-Always-Tir.../dp/0062515942

It talks about how copper levels are connected to all of these diseases.....

You've inspired me to get my copper levels tested! Just because there isn't official research on something doesn't mean there isn't a connection... it just means there's a potential connection that's unexplored.

Out of curiosity, did your doctors suggest any particular remedies to get your copper levels under control?

No, but I found this website interesting http://drlwilson.com/articles/copper...y_syndrome.htm
Especially when it mentioned the how high levels of copper can deplete vitamin c which I know can help prevent rsd.

It was my copper serum that was more than twice what it should be at the highest range. No doctor I have seen has been familiar with copper and how it affects or contributes to my problems. They find it puzzling and do not know what is causing it.
