something new to add to my rsd list. if its not hard enough typing a little, i am now all of a sudden experiencing blurred vision as i look at this screen. i have experienced double vision when i first stared taking some of my meds but not blurred like this. has anyone else had blurred vision from rsd. and if so what do you do about it. i just got my eyes checked and got new glasses so i know its not that. dr said they looked okay. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thank you my friends.

RSDME,
Your not alone, Ive had that happen so many times, then it started happening & my legs would start getting weak then when the blurred vision would hit my legs would stop working all together it actually happened a few times while I was driving with my youngest & my almost step daughter which scared the crap out of me thankfully I learned if the blurred visison started the legs were next. NOT saying this will happen to you but keep a notebook of when this happens things you ate that day things you did etc u may see a pattern or not but talk to your doc about it for sure. if u have any other questions about it let me know I will help if I can

I've had blurred vision with RSD also, especially on very high pain days, during a flare etc. One time however the blurred vision was caused by medication (Amitriptyline) so you may want to think if there is any changes in medications etc that could be contributing to it.
I have a computer software programme where I am able to talk to the computer and it types what I am saying. Its called Dragon Software. Its pretty expensive but it is useful so that may help you as well. I hope things improve, I know how scary it can be.

before this dreaded crps I had great eyesight but after about a year in I needed to get glasses for reading and now can't do without them but long sight is OK.I'm not sure if it is connected to crps or just my age the optician says it's about the age most people start to need glasses but I'm not so sure and convinced it is through crps but who am I to judge this. Is rhe rsd in your hands Rsdme? As you say hard enough typing. this is where I have it and can feel your pain typing. I find a touch screen a little easier to type on as only light touch is required but still pain full. All the best 👍👍

If you have a laptop that has camera & microphone built in - you can set it up to type for you by voice recognition that is included in the operating system.

I have this and had it really severely during the worst period of my RSD when it was spreading throughout my whole body and I was in a wheelchair unable to walk or stand at all. It continues to happen...though now it only happens with really bad flare ups. I was able to control this symptom with the use of clonidine patches. The doctors explained to me that blood pressure is controlled by the sympathetic nervous system...which is what malfunctions with RSD. The blurred vision and double vision were a symptom of my blood pressure spiking and dropping haphazardly. With the clonidine patches, my blood pressure was under control and the blurred vision and double vision decreased to a minimum and now only occurs with flare ups. I no longer use the clonidine patches since getting pregnant and having my baby (breastfeeding) and the blurred vision and double vision has increased slightly...but not to the levels it was prior to using the clonidine patches.
