ok yesterday was really bad, but What i felt yesterday caught me by surprise so lets see what others have experienced.. so hot as hell yesterday, my uncontrollable sweat got worse and i was literally sweating puddles every where I went. so much i needed a towel with me at all time. well of course RSD was like a wild fire. odd enough my legs were cold as ice. but here is the new one. My face and head. it felt like it was on fire,no kidding when I say i felt like the Ghost Rider, head all ablaze. and when i stood in the sun , all exopsed skin when ablaze as well.??? I have had the skin burn on my legs and arms before but this was different, this was right on the skin, usually the burn comes from the bone out, this was just on the surface??? anyone else?

My burning is always on the skin, I have different types of pain but the burn is always the skin for me. It's not pleasant at all when it's hot, which thankfully over here isn't often lol. It's very muggy today and my head hurts and I'm sweating a lot and have the itches, prickles and burn. Everything seems worse in the extremes of temperature but I'd rather be too cold any day than too hot. I found that Aloe Vera gel is very comforting/cooling in genuine heat even though it's only a temporary relief and probably won't help the deeper pain at all. It's good for sunburn too, far better than 'after sun'. I wish we could use ice.

I get both types of burning...the kind that radiates OUT and seems like my bones are made of hot irons and the kind on TOP of the skin that feels like someone has a blow torch and is using it on me. The pain on top is the stuff that I get SOME relief from with lidocaine cream or Lidoderm patches. Not a lot...but some. For me it's not caused by the sun though...it's my extreme sensitivity that causes the burning on the skin so it's more air movements and cold or just when the sensitivity is going nuts and the slightest touch sets me off. Desensitization has helped somewhat...but I still have really bad days too where I can't stand ANYTHING touching me. We all have different triggers though...so maybe the sun is one of yours...or maybe it was sensitivity from the heat on your skin.

after being sent to an allergist, he brought to light it could be the RSD doing this to me(anyone else?) he said that this was a chemical instability reaction, and after reading my blood work he sees many different things that went haywire that my present blood work doesn't show. my sugar went up, kidney function down liver function down and kidneys went on over load. so with saying this, the skin issue in the sun was after, all this. my sweat hursts, tears hurt, im mean it sucks I can't even cry with out pain.. I try very hard to think positive, but lack of sleep,, increased pain and stress, ( and im ranting) sorry. im starting to really feel the full affect of this on me and im just not happy where this is pointing. the weight is suffocating . I see things differently each minute. im told ive had conversations with people i just do not remember. or i have done thing i cant recall. and it is scary. im in the labyrinth and all paths are dead ends.. the fight is tiring. though i know ill never stop the fight, its one of my personality traits that is strongest in me. its not in me to quit, even when i should... I hope you all are doing well and i didnt bring you down.. be well

One ray of sunlightand it feels as if my arm has been set dipped in petrol and set on fire. 50 pactor suncream gives about 1/2hr of protection but if it burns through reapplying won;t help.
Seem to absorb the heat during the day but in the evenig I sweat so much I could replace Niagra Falls and no one would know the difference |

I hope your doctors figure it out. Sounds like you are suffering so much and I wish there was something I could say or do to make it better. Take care of yourself and keep fighting. |
