I'm also new here. I don't post much, but I do read almost every post out there. starting PM this coming week. Scared, and almost don't want to go, but if everyone here can do it, so can I. So many of the problems I've had I thought were in my head or something, but after reading the post, I know it is part of RSD. I was on SSD before this started due to excessive surgeries, so I don't have that to worry about. Hubby is very good, and kids do a lot to help when they are home.

Default Welcome

Glad you found us. Remember--when you are going through Hell -KEEP GOING. One day when you least expect it you may be out of Hell and on you way to a much better place. This place is a good start. It took me almost two years to go through it. But I found a wonderful Dr. and was blessed that nerve blocks work for me. Botox in my hand helps the dystonia. And time has helped take care of the emotions issues. Not that I can't get emotional, but at least now I don't bite a persons head off without giving them notice Most people like getting some warning that I am getting on my own last nerve, so I don't need their help. There are so many people here that understand whatever it is you are going through feel free to vent, ask questions and share information. Carose

Hey Dark Angel,

I'm Frogga; nice to meet you!! Sorry you have to be here and all that. You are right - this place is like a family - and even better than that, it's a family where you feel that you are understood - you are no longer "different" having RSD - it makes such a difference just being able to spend time with people who understand what this is.

Love

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! Sorry I didn't respond sooner, I've been busy with therapy and working with my lawyer to get Worker's Comp. to approve the nerve blocks that My PM Dr. wants me to have. Thank God I have a great PM Dr. and a great lawyer, they are working together to help me get the proper treatment that I need!
