After 5 months of taking Cymbalta (20mg/day) + dextromethorphan SR compounded, I have learned that they have a drug interaction and should not be taken together. I am on numerous other nerve pain meds. I have whole body CRPS symptoms and severe burning pain mainly. I would like to ask for opinions on which would be best to stop taking - the Cymbalta or the dextromethorphan? Tx!

I've only taken Cymbalta and Lyrica for the burning pain. I begged to get off the Lyrica from the weight gain. I have been on Cymbalta for quite a while. I'm currently on the max dose of 120mg.
I like Cymbalta as it also helps with the depression. It keeps me pretty level. Although I do get my days where I let this RSD get to me, but I believe it would be much worse without it.
