My voice comes & goes. Mostly goes. I use my I-pad a lot. That's another story. I also have essential tremors so it's hard to type. What about stabbing headaches? HELP. Glassbee

If you are using your iPad in your lap and looking even slightly down you may be adding strain/stress to your head and neck which would then cause headaches. You might try keeping a journal as to when your headaches occur so that you can then look back and see what you were doing before it occurred. How are your eyes? Are you straining your eyes looking at the computer, paperwork, TV etc., this can also cause headaches. Looking up and focusing across the room frequently will exercise your eyes and alleviate strain on them. Just a few thoughts.. |

Two of my Drs said it's neuological. My brain doesn't coordinate with vocal cords. I think RSD has the Rt side of my brain now! Also, cannot turn my head to the left & have double vision to that side. Even my left eye is slightly closed compared to the Rt one.

When they say neurological do you think they mean in the brain itself or caused by nerves being compressed in the cervical spine? C2/3 nerve root lesions can have an affect on all of these areas. I am truly sorry for the effects RSD has had on you!

I don't have trouble so far with my voicebox. I do have alot of pain in my neck, but have had that prior to getting RSD. The RSD has made it hurt alot more though. Sorry I can't help you with this one, but hope you can find some relief soon. Take Care.
