I have had RSD in my left foot since 2008, it quickly spread to my left hip and my bladder. I took a fall last December and had some minor pain in my right hip. Then on Labor Day I took a fall down the steps of my porch, now my hip is so sore I cannot get comfortable anyway I put it. I have been awake since Friday, when I got a bit stressed. They have done xrays and catscans on it and found no broken bones and cracks. I am wondering now if the RSD has spread again? I always forget what it feels like at first with a new spot. Please any suggestions?

Hi there, sounds like you've had a rough time of it recently with your CRPS...I hope today you are a little better.
If there are no obvious reasons for your hip pain, then of course there is a chance that it is spread of your CRPS causing the pain - but I really hope it's not. It could be inflammation of the tendons and muscles caused by the fall, and could subside over time. I'm in the UK and I'm afraid I've got no idea when Labor Day is ![]() Are you taking vitamin C twice a day? It helps to prevent spread, and started quickly after a new injury it can help minimise the chances of your CRPS spreading to the injured area. Sorry I can't do more to help, but I hope you get some relief soon. Has your doc tried some better painkillers? Not sleeping for so long must be very bad for your poor body and mind, and you have a right as a patient to have your pain controlled. I know it's easier said than done with CRPS, but they should try as much as possible... Take care of yourself and let us know how you get on. Bram.
