Default What are symptoms oF internal??

So i had a trip to the ER on Monday. I woke up with this INTENSE pain in my abdomen. I waited thinking maybe it was a really bad gas bubble or something, and it did subside a tiny bit. But it came back with a vengeance, in these painful waves, that were worsening with each wave. My doc sent me to the er thinking it was my appendix or something like that. Well, they could find nothing, The Doc who saw me knew really nothing if CRPS/RSD so he did not connect anything. Well in some research today my symptoms were very similar to what was described with RSD internal. I have also lost 25 lbs since April. WI have changed my diet slightly but not really enough to warrant THAT kind of weight loss. So I was wondering if any of you could describe what internal is like to help me talk with my doc tomorrow. thanks

***It would be better to title this what are some of your internal symptoms?

My internal symptoms of my stomach are like strong cramping pain in my lower part of my stomach and also a stabbing pain where I had my hysterectomy, especially my lower left side and my lower back side. My internal symptoms in my limbs are burning from the inside out, and sometimes muscle spasms in my left calf. And in my face I get burning pain and swelling and huge canker sores in my mouth and have sores that don't heal quickly like in my ears. I had a sore in my eardrum that popped when I q-tipped it and it started bleeding and hurt for about a week. My dr said I scratched the sore, but eardrum was not punctured. My other ear has a sore in it that doesn't seem to want to heal and my pierced ears swell and bleed if I wear earrings anymore. So I don't wear earring anymore. I have pain in my fingertips when my fingernails get too long or when i file my nails. My joints get red and hurt when they swell. I was in ER a few months ago for severe stomach pain. They did a catscan and only found a few small gallstones. They didn't connect the rsd pain with the stomach pain, but I think there was a connection that's why I'm going to an endo "intestinal" specialist in a few weeks to see if she can find a connection because I still have terrible stomach pain. Good luck with your dr appt. I hope you feel better soon. Take care.

I haven't anything useful to contribute to this thread, but I'm so sorry you're dealing with so many horrible symptoms....sending both of you gals a big and hope you have a better day today.

People who get sores often, should be evaluated for this problem:

http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/beh...CTION=symptoms

Another option is gastrointestinal angioedema.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2957599/

I have this latter problem, and it took a LIFETIME to get a diagnosis!

So sorry you are dealing with this additional pain! The abdominal/side pain I have is sharp, shooting and like a lightening bolt...kinda shock-like. It stops me in my tracks and takes me down and into tears immediately. It will hit me and finally leave and hit me again. I get these same exact type of pains in my feet (both have RSD) and in my head. After the pains leave, I get really nauseous.

I certainly hope your pains are not RSD/CRPS related and that you can get some relief real soon!

Hi Mrs D. ,

I did ask my pm dr about my sores and he said it was probably rsd related, because he says rsd attacks the skin as well as bones and muscles and nerves. Thanks for your advice though. Maybe I'll check with another dr to get a second opinion. Take care.

Anyone else have any experience with internal?? It didn't seem like many had it move internally yet.
