Default My body is slowly deterioating

My dr thinks I'm now developing osteperosis instead of osteopenia now in my right hip. I'm going to have to go for a bone scan to confirm. I have terrible pain in my right hip which is so bad I can barely walk. I have a hard enough time walking with the rsd in my feet. And now another tooth is starting to hurt. It's probably dying like the last one. And then there's my stomach. I go next Sat. to Endo (stomach) dr to see what to do about that. I feel like my body is slowly deterioating inside and out and it all started after I got rsd. I have a dr calendar to keep track of all my appts because there are so many. I also have a box of dr bills which I can't afford to pay all of right now. I fear my house is going to be foreclosed on if I have to keep going to specialists and hospitals for surgery on top of my rsd drs. I know there's nothing anyone can do, I just needed to vent. Thanks for listening. I hope you are all having a better day than me. Hope you have a good night.

So sorry you are having such a rough time right now Renee. I know how you feel, to a point, about the body going south on you. I seem to get more and more wrong. So sick of it.

You are in the right place to vent. Wish I had some magic words to help sooth your soul, but I don't, just know that you are not alone!

Take care and hope you get some relief soon!!

Iam so sorry I feel the same as you, that my body is falling apart and it to seemed to have all started with the RSD

So I started with full body rsd then when I thought I was starting to feel a little better my back started having lots of pain to find out my disks are herniated then just by chance my doctors found that I had thyroid cancer, with the removal of that i now have hypothyroidism when I started recovering from that I was diagnosed with sarcoidsis in the lungs and liver with treating that I was then diagnosed with gastropresis which half my stomach is dead so I have to manage my food with liquids its that or a feeding tube. Again i thought I was making head way on everything by managing them all to be just diagnosed with AVN, avascular nacrosis in which iam not getting enough blood flow to parts of my bones so they are slowly dieing my left ankle joint is already partly dead so has fractured and the ligament is torn my doctors want to see if I can manage with just managing the pain if not then will look for bone grafts or a whole new bone implant. Iam going to have a bone scan and will see how far along its getting in my hip and knees compared to my ankle.

Just like you I have no idea what I did for my body just to be falling apart the way it is at this rate at only 26 whats next but for my head just to fall off lol.... I honestly dont know what to do to stop my body from getting more issues as even though because of the rsd I dont do much my body acts as if I abuse it.

Iam with you Renee, Pain free hugs!!

Samantha

I too have stomach issues, I am pretty sure it is because of stress and worrying, I know it makes things worse but I am having tons of issues accepting this as my life. The doctor I have is HORRIBLE, we have a hospital that owns all hospital in 45 mile radius, So they all stick together, I am calling tomorrow to try and get in with a doctor which is 2 hour drive each way.

Hang in there, Even though I do not post much I read and lots of the things help me. I am just dealin with bad depression so I don't like to share, but I'm working on that :-)

I hope all goes better

I can understand why it must feel like that...

Hang in there Renee, you are going through a really rough time at the moment, but it will get a bit better again, you have to believe in that and not give up hoping.

Have you had a look for support or advice groups in your area who might be able to give you some kind of help with the financial stuff? Finances are horrible - being sick shouldn't be about money, and whether you have enough, but so often it seems to come down to that... It's so unfair, and I really feel for you. It's hard not to get depressed when it feels as though life itself has turned against you.

Just remember we're all here for you and you are NOT alone, even if it feels like that at times.

Hang in there girl. Don't let it beat you. I rely hope tomorrow is a better day all round

Bram

I have a tooth that either a piece fell off or a filling fell out. I'm beyond broke, waiting for money and one of the first things will be to get us all into the dentist. My tooth is doing okay for the time being, it's a small spot.

After my trauma my thyroid went low. Endo doc said that happens a lot, body gets too stressed out after an injury and one's thyroid goes off. I also have stomach issues. Doc said my body is too stressed, even if my brain isn't so much, and so I'm taking Zoloft to help that. He also thinks I have heartburn, and I think I have a hiatal hernia. It's all body stress.

It's horrible what our bodies do. I'm only 40 and feel like an old lady. All I can do is do all that stuff we're supposed to do, like eat right and be proactive about what I can.

Thanks for all of your support and kind advice. I was up half the night with rsd, fibromyalgia, hip, stomach and a toothache pain. (And hot flashes from my surgical menopause). I still haven't finished the root canal for the other tooth that just died on me, let alone paying for it. I'm beyond broke too at this point and don't understand how the dr who screwed up my wrist and who I think caused my rsd can sleep at night. I bet he doesn't have to worry about loosing his home or worry about whether or not he will be around to see his children graduate college, get married and have children of their own. It's so unfair. I feel like the med bills are the insult the the rsd injury that I have. It took us twenty-five years of hard work to raise our child and own our own home. And now because of what I believe is a drs negligence, we could loose it all in the blink of an eye. And I don't know how the drs that cover for each others mistakes think it's acceptable when the outcome is their patients (victims) loosing everything from health to home to their children's future that they may never get to see. I've never asked you to pay for my mistakes, so why should I have to pay for yours? I shouldn't. It's just not right. Sorry, but I just needed to vent again. Thanks for listening.
