Default looking forward to relief.......

I am looking forward to the relief of having this little gymnast out of me and my body back. But not to the resurgence of really bad CRaPS pain. Yes I have been hurting all the time this pregnancy but I know it will get worse after he's born. Getting the extra weight off from pregnancy will help some but I know it will hurt too. I do have a PM dr already lined up for when he is born so I can go right back into treatment. Just a little longer and I will have my body back. I am hurting in places I didn't know could hurt. Like my hair hurts. Yes my hair as in not the scalp or skin it touches. My nails hurt, and no its not from cutting them too short, or breakage. I almost feel like I'm going crazy. Ladies, not every pregnancy is the same. If you feel like you want to have a baby and can deal with the "growing pains" of said little ones then do it. Just know that most treatments are out of the question while you are pregnant. My 2 little ones were surprises but I wouldn't give them up for the whole universe. I chose to get off treatment and deal as best I can with my pain so my little goobers are healthy. If you decide to have a little one come talk to me. I will gladly tell you about both my pregnancy experiences. Just remember pregnancy is like CRaPS in that no 2 are the same. Good luck.

I was feeling a little crappy. My hip to the bottom of my foot..I felt so bad.I then turned on the computer to read my email.I received a caringbridge update on a little pal of mine. She has rsd and many other issues..She has been in the hospitals all over for about 2 years. She is at rock bottom, but she still has Faith ...My heart broke this morning to read her post that her mother has to write. That Dear sweet young teen has been through so much..About 4 surgeries and terrible pain..So I guess I should be thank you for the little things..This young lady needs prayer..Please pray for her..Her name is Kendall..She helped me in the beginning of my journey with RSD..I am so greatful for her..So everyone reading this can we pray for the release of her pain,to walk again, just heal her Dear LORD..Thank you

Hi Allanira, I'm so proud of you for making it through your pregnancy without taking all your pain meds. I can't imagine how hard that is, but you're almost there. My thoughts are with you and your little ones. Take Care and have a Merry Christmas with your family.

Allanira, that's truly a story of a mommie doing a truly selfless act for her child.
I'm glad you're almost due. The next few months won't be easy either but at least you can have some meds.

I am at 36 1/2 wks now. I am really praying he comes before Christmas. I want my body back. I haven't taken any Norco for a while now because I DoO NOT want this little one to have to go through withdrawal. I declined going back on gabapentin till after he's born so he won't have to go through withdrawal on that either. My 2yr old knows that I hurt and tries to help but he doesn't completely understand why I hurt. I do have a birth plan and I really hope the Dr's go by it. I have taken in info about this disorder and everything so they are aware of my "special needs". They are watching me closely and they are doing another sonogram to make sure goober is ok. I go tomorrow for that. I will be getting an appt with the PM as soon as he is born. I just hurt and can't wait to see this goober and know he's ok because of the meds early on. Also I've prayed for all of the people with this every day. Good luck to everyone.

Not long now Allanira and I join with everyone else here in saying well done on keeping off the meds all this time. It's an amazing gift for your unborn child, and one that in time he will appreciate when he's old enough to understand. Love comes in so many forms, but nine months of pain for his wellbeing is a true act of love and giving. I think that's amazing.

It sounds like you have everything thought out, but as we all know, birth can sometimes catch you and the best laid plans out - but you're a strong woman and you know your own mind and body. You'll do just fine.

Take care and hang in there.

Bram.

Ugh I feel awful tonight. I don't want to take a Norco but think I might have to. I am trying my hardest not to take any meds but between heartburn him jamming my stomach into my throat, and my CRaPS I am about to break down. I can't though because of my 2 yr old goober boy and he keeps pushing, and kicking my bad leg.

Well ladies, this boy is just as stubborn as his momma. He was tails up at my last appt and today he is heads up. If he doesn't turn back then I will have to schedule a C section for Dec 31st. Plus heavy heavy duty spinal block. Time to start a heavier dose of vit c as a just in case. They are going to do ultrasounds at all my appts now to see which way he's turned. Ugh I even tried to convince the dr to do the C section next week lol. So now I wait and see if he is going to cooperate or continue being stubborn like me. Yes I am a stubborn woman. I think its one reason I've made it this far without being treated for CRPS.
