I have been in major flares over past few weeks, today is the first day I haven't cried yet...545 pm here. My arms and feet are affected with crps but my right arm is the worst. Tonight while doing my sensitivity exercises ie rubbing arm with slight pressure, I noticed a lump, big lump on outside of arm, my husband thinks it's a bone. No bruise normal pain idk what it is or what to do....

Hey there, so sorry you're having a long, tough time of it with the flares. Hope you start to feel a little better very soon.
I'd get that lump checked out as soon as you can, if for no other reason than to calm your fears about it. Now you know it's there, you are worrying, and that's only going to be helped by knowing what it is. Hopefully it's nothing serious and you can have one less thing to stress you out. Take care of yourself and good luck with the doc. Bram.

Hi Mom, I'm so sorry you are having a flare. As for the lump, it may be swelling from the rsd, but I agree with Bram. I would go to the dr asap just to make sure that it's nothing else than that. I know it's hard, but try to think that it's nothing serious. I had all kinds of weird things happen to me since I've gotten rsd. I woke up yesterday with a rash under both of my arms. I think its just dry skin, but it burns and is spreading down my sides. I've never had that before. But I'm trying not to panic. I will check with my dr on Monday just to make sure it's nothing serious. Just try to hang in there and get some rest. My thoughts and prayers are with you. From your friend, Renee.

I would go to the ER then. It may be nothing, but I wouldn't wait three weeks to get it checked. I know the ER stinks, but I think that's something you shouldn't put off. I will pray that you can get checked out soon and will feel better and be okay. Take Care.

I agree with Bram also, you need to get it checked out. Is there anyway your PCP could call that dr and get you in quicker?
Hope you get some relief very soon! Nanc |

You can't get in with your RSD doc for 3 weeks ? Or your PCP ?
A lump with no pain or bruising and no precipitating trauma is not an emergency. It's a cause to call your PCP, discuss the issue, and ask for an evaluation. Stinks about the flare, Mom. I hope that you feel better soon

I agree with the others, you need to get it looked at soon!! But please try not to worry too much, it could be unrelated to CRPS. Hope the flare eases up, try to find a calming distraction if you can.

I agree with the others. You should get it checked out, but not worry. It could be as simple as a calcium deposit, but better to be sure. Light, lukewarm compresses might help. Keep your chin up and hope you find some relief soon. Know we are in this with you. Suz
