Default spread?

My lower back has been horrible. It gets so bad I just want to collapse or never move. My shoulders feel like they just came from the oven. Just recently started horrible sweating...even if I'm sitting watching tv it's like I just ran a marathon in 100 degree weather. Going to the Cleveland Clinic at the end of this month. I can't take anymore!!!

Where is your primary site ?

I'm sorry that you are having such a difficult time of it right now. I hope that you get some answers from the Cleveland Clinic......if you can last that long.

Hi Katie,
Looks cold? I'm not sure what that means but one of my symptoms is being cold. My wife has a picture of me last summer sitting in the sun on a 95 deg. day bundled up in a winter jacket shivering. I even sat in the car having the heat blasting to get warm!
When ever my pain flares up my left hand and arm becomes cold.
I sure the Cleve. Clinic can help you find releif...

lol. I think she was referring to my dog in my sig picture, Russell.

Katie,

Does the pain feel the same/have the same characteristics as your R arm/hand pain ? Have you had the sweats (which I am too familiar with ) in your R arm too ? Have you discussed the possible spread with your RSD doc yet ?

I just cringe whenever I see a new "spread" thread in this forum......and thank God that I haven't had to deal with that issue (yet!). I have RSD pain to the L of my neck which started as a thoracic outlet syndrome. My neuro says that TOS RSD'ers don't usually have the spreading issues that those of you who start with RSD in an extremity have.

Please keep us updated on what the CC has to say.

Yes my right hand always sweats...never really stop. They think it started in my right hand but honestly my shoulders and lower back are the worst pain wise. I guess it's because I never really use my right hand it just stays in a clam/claw position most of the time but it sweats like crazy. I have lost some hair on my right arm and do get alot if pain and swelling in my right wrist. My hand doesn't swell all the time...just when it feels like it I guess but it's very pale and blotchy compared to my left hand. I'm just so tired of this...I'm only 27 and I feel like I'm 90...I can hardly do anything before my body hurts so bad that I have to sit down. .then I hurt from sitting to long. Ever since all this happened my whole body hurts now. Knees, back, ankles, heels..I don't know what's going on or why. Thanks for your replies and yes I was talking about the dog sorry lol
