Hi Allen, nice post. Thank you for sharing your story and for reaching out. You are absolutly right - the peeps here are remarkable. So kind and generous with their support. And I love how everyone tries to keep it positive and inspiring. Be well, ~ Lottie

Everyone is sooooo AWESOME!!!
In the first few years of RSD, this place was my life saver! It is a horrible thing when you first start learning about the diagnosis of RSD. Almost like hearing a death sentence. Then there is the loss of work, and the loss of all the things you used to do and never gave a thought about never being able to do those things again. If it wasnt for all the people here......I have no idea how I would have made it through the first few dark years. |

Hi Allen, I also was very touched by your story. I am very pleased to become acquainted with you also. I don't know that you are less than any other in here as we all lost something with this affliction.
It doesn't matter what you did or what happened when you were at war. The thing is that you went and when you returned you weren't and never will be the person that left Allen. You as we all do constantly fight a battle and we will win our own personal one for sure because pain is a devil and I will not let him win. We may not win the rsd/crps war Allen but you can bet your booties we will win our battles with the fantastic support and knowledge that is here in this forum. And guess what Allen. If you don't know Tess, she is pain free and is coming home tomorrow. What great news, she is one happy camper!! Watch the posts tomorrow I'm sure she will be on it, I think her NT name is zookster. There will be some happy posts. I'm out of here Allen my hands have had it..best of luck and happy sailing! Last edited by krow46; 04-04-2014 at 10:03 PM. Reason: Hit wrong key..my bad |

![]() Nice to meet you. I'm more of a reader than poster. I try to contribute where I can.

Right on Tess!!!
![]() Wow that is really good news!! I feel privileged to be a part of this place....always have, and always will. The only thing that saddens me......is that there are people joining everyday ![]() Just glad there is somewhere we all can go to find info, and encouragement!!! It is wonderful to meet everyone, and I hope everyone finds a way to at least reduce the pain and suffering, if not go and beat it down as Tess has! You all are great! ![]() |
