So sorry Vrae!! SNOW?! Unbelievable. It has been a very strange winter for sure. Wonder what summer will bring. It has been wierd here in the mid-atlantic region too. 30's one day, 80's the next. But, I personally do better in the warm weather so I look forward to the summer months. Hang in there, girl! ~Lottie

Default Enough Already!

I am completely over this! 23 degrees and with the wind chill it feels like 19. Next Sunday it will be 80?! that's fantastic and all but it was 80 the weekend before Mother's Day (I'm still nursing a sunburn). This is a rollercoaster of 60 degree swings in weather! UGH!!

Not to mention we have freeze warnings now. Our trees just got their leaves. This is a spring snow, which means it is a heavy wet snow vs. a light fluffy snow. So this is when you start to worry about damage. We've had to go out and shake trees and such. Not to mention prep for winter again. We had turned on our sprinkler system and have not blown it out again for this storm/deep freeze. Lord.. let it not start bust'n pipes. Surely the ground is plenty warm to hold us a couple of days.. right? My poor husband drug in flowers I planted (big and heavy pots). I did not ask him to do this but he knew we'd lose them. Covered our garden (it's the black plastic bags in the pics).

I yi yi.. and I'm to get out in this crap and go get injections tomorrow.

Did I mention I am over this?
