Oh! OUCH! So sorry about that!! All I know to do is to stay calm. Protect your hand... Keep it out of the way of..everything, and anything you'd consider a shock or trigger.. Maybe try a large SOFT glove? Stay away from ice...I have used arnica gel for reduction of inflammation and healing, and it seems to help more just after injury. It definitely reduces bruising for me. Oh I'm sorry that happened.

Aww, Kev I really hope you don't continue to suffer. Are you badly burned & did you get it looked at? What was the emergency?
