Thank you so much everyone. It helps so much to know that I'm not alone. Your support, care and understanding is always a great comfort.

At around 5:30am, the pain eased off enough for me to fall asleep. I managed to sleep until about 7am.

I didn't want to get out of bed because I knew that would wake my husband. He woke up anyway though. He took care of me and talked to me until I fell asleep. <3

Hi Kim, the UK morning shift is here :)

I'm so sorry, you poor girl, you must feel utterly crap this morning. Hope that little bit of sleep did you some good....thank goodness it's Good Friday and I'm hoping to goodness you don't have to work. Try to get some more sleep - put yourself first for a change ;)

It's not been as bad as yours, but my feet and knee have been unhappy the last couple of days, and last night they were very burny and scratchy and raw. Hate it because I struggle to get them comfy in bed, even with my attractive little tent-like arrangement. Maybe there is a weathery element to it?

If you have a med specifically for the long-term nerve pain (like my Lyrica) maybe try upping the dose for a couple of days. Sometimes that helps with a flare, particularly the weather-related kind.

I do hope you are feeling a little better, at least that the knives have been put away... Take care of yourself today, and I send you a

Thanks Bram. I'm sorry you had a rough night too. The weather has been odd lately, hasn't it? It seems to be shifting back and forth between cold and warm.

Tents are cool, by the way. The sleep helped but I'm sure I'll be very tired later. I think I will try to have a nap. I always worry that if I have a nap, it will be even more difficult to sleep at night. But today I might risk it.

I have recently started taking Cymbalta at a very low dose. I like your idea of upping the dose for a few days and it is perfect timing to try that since my office is closed until Tuesday. Thanks for suggesting it. :)

I am better this morning. My arm has nearly gone back to its usual cripsy mutterings.

Kim

I spoke too soon (well, typed too soon). I am not back to my usual cripsy mutterings. Nope. It looks like it is going to be an extra cripsy day with plenty of fire.

"Hope that little bit of sleep did you some good....thank goodness it's Good Friday and I'm hoping to goodness you don't have to work."

4 if you changed the "...." to a semicolon  Although a hyphen would be more appropriate (or the "...." you already have)

Lol, thanks visioniosiv - and I think that actually is still a legitimate sentence, even without the semicolon!!! How did I not see that?! 4!!! That's made my day!!! (how tragic is that?!)

Bram :)
