Smile Hi ALL, its been awhile...

I havent been on in some time now but I hope you all are hanging in & doing well Ive been dealing with MAJOR flair up's so been kinda closed off & keepin to myself. All of you have been on my mind so I wanted to just drop in say hello to everyone & wish you all well..Sorry Ive not been on here in so long I am hoping to be feeling better soon I have been fighting one infection after another for months now & am saying some prayers that I will be getting rid of the infections soon. I have mentioned & asked all of you awhile ago if anyone else had problems with their teeth since the RSD/CRPS many of you answered yes well that's been a HUGE prob for me & now all of my teeth are just crumbling, which is not only painful but just embarassing as all heck I may have help through a foundation called Smile Faith & with any luck might be getting all of my dental work covered (fingers crossed) but the Dentist I was sent to has me on lots of antibiotics & said my entire mouth is one big infection & it is in my jaw as well so saying prayers I am going to get a new smile soon & rid of all the infection! I miss u all & will drop in again very soon, sending lots of air hugs and luv

Hi Heidi, It's good to hear from you. I am sorry you have had an infection and problems with your teeth. My teeth are crumbling too. My two front teeth are cracking now. I haven't been able to afford going to the dentist lately. I am glad you found a place that can help you with your dental work. I haven't been on too much lately either. I have been feeling crappy lately with lots of rsd flares and trouble breathing. I just recently found out I had a silent heart attack. I went to the cardiologist last week after complaining of chest pains, trouble breathing and dizziness. They did an EKG and found out I had a heart attack. I had an EKO done last week too and I found out that was normal. Wed I get a stress test. And Friday will get results. Hopefully there is no damage to my heart. I saw my pm dr today and he said it's not rsd related. That was a relief but I'm still scared of having heart damage or another attack. I hope they can help me to avoid this. Anyway, I hope your infection goes away soon and that your teeth can be fixed easily. Glad to hear from you my friend. Take care. With love and soft hugs, your friend, Renee.

Hey Heidi! So nice to hear from you! I have thought about you, wondering how you're getting along.

Gosh, I cannot imagine having a sick mouth. How do you eat? Are you getting counseli.ng on nutrition. Your body can't heal from the infection without sufficient nutrients.

I looked at the foundation's website. Very cool mission, I hope they will get you the help you need and deserve. Please keep us posted.

Wishing you wellness ~ Lottie

Oh HeidiB.. you too? I just had three teeth pulled on 06/25 and my mouth is sooo s-l-o-w to heal. And I now have more swelling going on in another area, that if that doesn’t calm down soon I will need to get checked out. Just constant, reoccurring dental infections, this has been my story also for the last two years.. at least two years. I had one pulled last year, and one missing from several years ago. Mine are all lower back except for one, so you don’t notice that they’re gone right away, or perhaps at all… but boy oh boy am I sure missing them. Eating has been a challenge for sure. I could stand to lose a few gabapentin pounds so it’s all good I guess, for now. Given all that I’ve read about our condition and teeth, I’ve decided for me that I guess I’m working my way to a new smile too. Soon I hope to be shopping for a partial.

I am so happy for you that you have found some assistance! That is fantastic!! My fingers are crossed for you too. I hope they are able to help.

So yeah, this aspect of things is just all kinds of fun hu? I’m so sorry HeidiB! I hope you heal quickly hon and get all that infection out. After some healing time I bet we both feel a little better. Good to see you around again!

Can someone chime in with some background on how CRPS is related to tooth loss. Hoping I and others can learn from this, and maybe be proactive / preventative. Thanks,Lottie
